characteristics of the Christian life

All walks of life to some degree reflects the interests of the people, in the Christian life you can also see it by their actions, their words, their interests. Romans 6:2 Certainly not, how shall we who died to sin live any longer in it? (Romans 6:7). In the verse from Romans 6:2 we see that the Bible describes the Christian life as having died to sin, if we think and meditate a bit on this, we realize that something died, whether animal or plant, that has no function, and does not grow, etc.

Then when the Bible describes us as dead to sin means that sin in us will not act, we will be away from sin, this does not happen  overnight, some people get saved and have a good fast transformation , but most enter to a process of spiritual cleansing. 1 Peter 2:24  Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we,having die, to sins, might live for justice, and by whose stripes you were healed. We can see here that the Lord Jesus was crucified for our sins, thank God that at times that you feel weak or tempted, you can see the sacrifice that Jesus already did for us.

If God knows our human weakness,  Jesus died for us, but not only died, also rose. The great blessing that I think we have is God's word, you can learn the will and plan God has for you, now with modern technology we can get even closer to  the service of God by reading His Word, we  understand that reading the Bible is like hearing God talking to you, we have to focus and pay attention to what God says. You can have the bible directly to your computer and I recommend you clicking here to receive all the information, read the Bible and receive great blessing

The surrendered life, Christian Life

As Christians we are called to a life of personal commitment: it means that  the mind, body and soul are given to our personal savior Jesus, the great honor to have you as a follower of Christ is to follow the footsteps of the Master and follow his teachings.

Text: Exodus 32:29 And Moses said,  consecrate yourselves today to the Lord, that He may bestow on you a blessing this day, for every man has opposed his son and his brother. In this verse and the rest of the passage (see Exodus 32).

We see that God's people paid heavily for having disobeyed God, after God had given Moses the 10 Commandments, the people are desperate and tired of waiting for Moises, they made themselves a golden calf for the purpose of worship, this is where God calls his people  you and I, to wait for his answer  and trust that he will respond, this is part of the consecration, trust completely in God.

YOUR HEART

Proverbs 23:26 My son, give me  your heart, and let your eyes observe my ways.  First of all, in this verse God calls us "son", is a great honor that  the creator of the universe loves us so much,  that He puts us in a category so important, that God gave us free will, or freedom to choose our decisions,  good or bad, but when the Bible says" Give me" indicates the desire of God to choose Him as part of our lives, Jesus will not force us to obey or follow him, He just inviting us to be his disciples.

In this Bible study I followed a specific topic,  I recommend visiting here for information on how to learn to follow the word of God using verses by topics. Receive spiritual growth in reading scripture verses by topic, for new converts or experience readers of the Bible.
